On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the UCR School of Medicine hosted its ninth annual Celebration of Medical Education Gala at the Riverside Convention Center, supporting our Mission Scholarship Program which provides scholarships to medical students who commit to practicing in the underserved local region in primary care areas. The sold-out event welcomed 420 guests and raised in excess of $200,000 to support the scholarship
